Reporting Requirements — LPA discovered that facility staff failed to report an incident to CCL that occurred a few weeks ago (date unknown), involving Child 1. During interviews conducted, it was disclosed that Child 1 was left inside the Blue Room unattended, with no staff supervision for approximately 5 - 8 minutes. The incident happened around nap time, between 12:30PM - 12:45PM, as staff were preparing the children for a nap. This poses a potential health, safety, and personal rights risk to children in care.

Alterations to Existing Buildings or New Facilities — Per the Licensee Representative, the off limits space was rented to a vendor (Bakers Academy) during the holiday season / winter break. The Infant and Pre-school programs were both on site at the time. The Bakers Academy was for school age kids, only 5 and up. Both licenses (Infant & Pre-school) were operating while the space was being rented out. The parents for the Bakers Academy children used the main entrance to drop off / pick up their children. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
