The short version: you can use every part of this site without an account, we collect almost nothing about you, and we never sell or share what little we have.

What we collect

No accounts.There is nothing to sign up for, so we never ask for your name, your child's name, or anything about your family.

Aggregate page-view analytics. We count visits to pages (for example, how many people viewed daycares in each state) using Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, does not follow you across sites, and does not build a profile of you as an individual visitor. We see totals per page, not people.

Emails you send us. If you report an error, we receive your email address and what you wrote. We use it only to investigate and fix the report, and to reply to you.

Ordinary server logs. Like nearly every website, our servers briefly record technical request data (such as IP addresses) for security and debugging. Logs are routine, short-lived, and not used to identify visitors.

What we never do

We do not sell or rent any data. We do not run third-party advertising or ad-tracking. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we have no data about you to share with daycares — a facility can never find out who looked at its record.

About the facility data we publish

Facility pages republish official records that state licensing agencies already publish, including facility names and addresses (for home-based daycares, these are published by the state as part of the license). We publish only what the official source publishes. If you believe something shown here differs from the official record, email reports@goldicheck.com and we will correct verified errors promptly (see Terms, Section 6).

Changes

If what we collect ever changes — for example, if we add optional accounts — we will update this page and change the effective date above before the change takes effect.
