To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs. This requirement is not met as evidenced, it was found that there was verbal alteration between facility staff, while staff was holding a child and on different occasion, children got to observed a dead chicken in the play yard. Facility failed to prevent children from viewing the dead animal. This is considered as an immediate risk to the children in care.

A licensed child day care facility shall provide to the parents or guardians of each child receiving services in the facility copies of any licensing report that documents any Type A citation that represents an immediate risk to the health, safety, or personal rights b of children in care as set forth in paragraph (1) of subdivision (a) of Section 1596.893b. The licensee shall keep verification of receipt in each child's file. This requirement is not met as evidenced from record review, LPA did not obsreve the acknowledgment from parents of receiving the Type A deficiency report from August 19, 2025, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
