Teacher Qualifications and Duties. (j) Each teacher shall visually observe aides under his/her supervision whenever the aide is working with children, except as provided for in Sections 101216.2(e)(1) and 101230(c)(1). This requirement was not based on interviews with staff from the facility and the photography company, Lil' Angels. It was deternined that unqualified staff were not always overseen by a qualified teacher while teh children were taking pictures. This poses a potential threat to the health and safety of children in care if not corrected.
Admission Procedures and Parental and Authorized Representative's Rights: To enter and inspect the child care center in accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 1596.857. This requirement was not met by the parent was not given access to the campus that his child attends. This is a potential risk to a child.
