Criminal Record Clearance — 10/24/25 LPA obtained information through interviews that licensee had an AIR BNB renter that did not obtain a criminal record clearance prior to residing in the home. This posses an immediate risk to the safety of children in care.
Revocation or Suspension of a Liicense..(a)The Department shall have the authority to suspend or revoke any license for the following reasons: (3) Conduct in the operation ... of a family day care home which is inimical to the... morals....or safety of either an individual in or receiving services from the facility ... — Based on interviews conducted licensee gave false statements regarding her AIRBNB operation. Records show that licensee has been made aware by Code Enforcement she does not have permit to operate a short term rental. This poses an immediate risk to the safety of the children in care.

Family home — home free of safety hazards — Based on observation the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. LPA observed disinfecting wipes, disinfecting sprays and mouthwash within reach of children on the counter and in cabinet under sink. LPA advised Licensee to place items off limits or place child locks on the cabinet to make items inaccessible to children.
Mandated reporter training — Based on observation, interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above for herself and spouse/assistant which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Family home — admission procedures and parent rights — Based on observation interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above for two children, C3 and C4 were observed to be missing the Notification of Parents' Rights (LIC 995A) and one child C4 is missing the completed Consent for Emergency Medical Treatment (LIC 627) form which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
