Family home — in-ground pool drowning prevention requirements — Based on observation , the licensee did not comply with the section cited above because Licensee has a pool cover that can't be walked on and didn't have a pool alarm which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Family home — home free of safety hazards — Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above because licensee had comet and cleaning chemicals in the cabinet under the sink which wasn't secured with child safe latches or a barricade. Ths posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Reporting Requirements — Per investigation, Licensee did not report an unusual incident where a daycare child had a medical emergency in the playground and required hospitalization. This poses a potential risk to health safety of children in care.
Staffing Ratio and Capacity — Per investigation, there were occasions when more than 8 school age children were present with Licensee or Assistant alone, and without the presence of a second qualified adult. An incident happened in the neighboring elementary school's playground during outdoor activities when Licensee was alone with 12 children under her care. This poses a potential risk to health & safety of children in care.
Alterations to Existing Building or Grounds — Per investigation, outdoor swimming pool which is marked as an off-limits area is being used by children during summer days. LPAs observed children using the pool today under supervision of Licensee's spouse.
