Drinking water lead testing — Based on LPA observation and interview, Licensee did not meet above requirement. Per FR, they have not tested their water for lead by time of inspection. This poses a potential health, safety, and personal rights risk to children in care.
Fixtures, Furniture, Equipment and Supplies — based on LPA observation, Licensee did not meet above requirement. LPA observed a variety of toys in outdoor play area not maintained such as plastic play equipment to be cracked and have broken pieces exposing sharp edges, sensory table arch way leaning with bent metal bar, and bicycles and scooters to be missing handle bars and rusted at time of inspection. This is a potential health, safety, and personal rights risk to children in care.
1596.8662(b)(1) Health and Safety Code a person who is a licensed child care provider... of a licensed child day care facility shall complete the mandated reporter training, complete renewal... every two years following the date on which he or she completed... This regulation was not met as evidenced by: Based on record review and interview, the Licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 5 out of 6 staff files not having proof of AB1207 Mandated Reporter training completion which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
