Personal Rights — Based on LPA observations and interviews conducted; Staff left child in soiled clothing for longer then 15 minutes. This is a potential risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care.
101223Personal Rights-(a) The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: (2) To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs. This requirement was not met by: LPA observed in the Flounder room the tall cubbies were not anchored to the wall; in the other rooms the cubbies are anchored. This poses a potential risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of children.
Buildings and Grounds — ; LPAs observed that three areas of the fence, surrounding the playground was loose on the bottom, that a child could fit under and possibly get out. LPAs observed that the rubber flooring is uneven and can pose a tripping hazard. LPAs observed that the sandbox was hard and bare, and provided no cushioning. This poses a potential risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of children.
