102416.2(a)(2) Reporting Requirements (a)The licensee shall report the following information to the Department by telephone or fax within the Department's next business day and during normal working hours (8am to 5pm). Any child absence means any instance where a child in care is missing. For example, any child in care who wanders away from the Family Child Care Home, is lost during an outing, or does not return from school, shall be reported even if the child is later found safe this was not met as evidenced by…. Based on record review, and interview, the licensee failed to inform our department within 24 hours of a child missing from facility. This poses an immediate health, safety, and personal rights risk of children in care.
