Infant Care Activities — Based on POC statement and staff interview, the 5-month old child was placed on a nap mat in the play area and not the crib.
Indoor Activity Space for Infants — Based on POC statement and staff interview a 5-month old has been napping on a nap mat in the infant activity area.
Disaster and Mass Casualty Plan — Based on interview with staff, facility has not conducted a disaster drill since summer of 2024.
Infant Care Activities — Based on staff interviewed, a 5-month old infant was allowed to sleep on the floor(daily) due to the infant's difficulty in sleeping. According to staff the infant will awake as soon as they try to lay infant in the crib.
Buildings and Grounds — Based on observation, a car seat and a back pack were observed stored near the exit. During the recent earthquake, staff had to remove a couple of car seats out of the way before they safely got out of the building.
