Family home — home free of safety hazards — Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) observed that both pool gates were under five feet tall and did not self latch or self close with one pool gate not being able to open as it appeared stuck. LPA observed that part of the mesh fencing next to the wooden back fence (on left side) was loose and drooping. LPA also observed that the clearance from the dirt ground to the bottom of the fence enclosure measured close to three inches on one side and close to six inches on the other side.
Staff immunization — influenza, pertussis and measles — Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) observed that Assistant #1 was missing proof that she completed a Tuberculosis (TB) test with results.
