Family home — home free of safety hazards — Based on records review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in two of two disaster drills, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. The licensee showed the LPA a list of drill dates showing that the latest disaster drill was documented on 5/7/2024. The licensee stated she had not conducted one since then.

The licensee showed the LPA expired pediatric CPR cards for each of two licensees in the license. The licensee stated the CPR had to be renewed.

(A) The provider shall be able to visually observe the infant without moving the door. This regulation was not met: Based on observation, the licensee did not meet the regulation for infant C1; C1 was sleeping in a separate room with the door closed. This poses a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care.
