Family home — home free of safety hazards — Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. LPA observed that there was a shed on the left side of the yard that was not locked, which had tools, paint, and chemicals.
Alterations to Existing Building or Grounds — Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. Upon arrival to the home, LPA observed that there were children inside the garage.
Staffing Ratio and Capacity — LPAs observed there were 14 school-age children in care during the time of inspection. This poses an immediately safety & health risk to children in care.
Criminal Record Clearance — LPAs observed there was a helper who did not obtain criminal record clearance during the time of inspection. This poses an immediately safety & health risk to children in care.

Infant Safe Sleep — Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above by having an Infant under 2 years old in a non-operating rocking chair to sleep which poses a potential health, safety, or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Family home — preventive health training, including pediatric CPR and first aid — Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. Licensee has an email dated 01/17/2023 from American Red Cross that she completed course.
Alterations to Existing Buildings or Grounds: (6) Any change from an area of the family child care home previously identified as "off limits" to an area where care and supervision will be provided to children in care. Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as the off-limits garage was using for children activities. which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
