Alterations to Existing Building or Grounds — An infant was placed in an off-limit bedroom of the home, which was not approved by the department. During LPAs visit, LPA toured the bedroom and found storage of hazards: cleaning chemicals, shampoos, and soaps. The closet had multiple items stacked on top another, which can be dangerous for the age of the children in the daycare.This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Infant Safe Sleep — An infant was inside 1 out of 2 of the cribs LPA observed today. LPA did not see a fitted sheet in the crib the 'sick infant' was in. Licensee kept the child separated, however, will not be able to clean/wash the infected area, as there was no sheet. This is being downgraded to a Type B citation, since licensee has another option via another crib for infant sleep, if needed. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
