Teacher Qualifications and Duties — LPA Vega-Gonzalez reviewed Staff 2's file and observed staff is not a qualified teacher, and did not pass their Fall 2023 child development course, nor was registered for the Spring 2024 school year.. Operating without a license — Licensee had not paid the annual fees, that were due on 11/17/2023. As stated in the LIC809 report dated 1/30/2024. This poses/ posed a potential risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care.
Outdoor Activity Space — LPA Vega-Gonzalez observed mushroom scattered throughout the wood chips in the play ground area. As stated in the LIC809 report dated 1/30/2024. This poses/ posed a potential risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care.
Food Service — LPAs observed various food itmes that were not stored in a healthful manner as stated in LIC809 report. This poses a potential risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care.
Buildings and Grounds — LPAs observed rain water collected in bins, woodchips in play area were not raked in high impact areas, and accessbile materials in side yard were observed, as stated in the LIC809 report. This poses a potential risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care.
Plan of Operation — Director Eunice Mendoza confirmed that the facility did not have a "Cook Supervisor/ Server" as stated in the facilities job description. Eunice informed LPAs that neither herself or Staff 2 had the certification as stated in the LIC809 report. This poses a potential risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care.
