a) The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: (2) To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs. Based on LPA interviews, and documents collected during the investigation, the above mentioned regulation was not met. LPA discovered, directors dog was present during operational hours. Directors dog nibbled on daycare children.
On or before March 30, 2018, a person who, on January 1, 2018, is a licensed child day care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility shall complete the mandated reporter training provided pursuant to paragraphs (2) and (3) of subdivision (a), and shall complete... Due to record review, this Regulation was not met as evidenced by : Staff#2 did not have a current active AB1207 during LPA inspection/record review on 02/5/2025. LPA observed Staff#2 providing care and supervision to chidlren on 2/5/2025.
