Infant Safe Sleep — During today's inspection, Licensee was not able to produce 15-minute sleep logs for the enrolled infants for the month of December 2023. LPA observed sleep logs for the months prior. Licensee stated there were no infants in care during December, however Licensee was unable to provide proof. Based on observation and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Staffing Ratio and Capacity — During today's inspection, LPA took a census of the children in care, and observed the Licensee and two assistants to be caring for a total of eleven children, including six that are infants. The licensee was observed to be operating out of ratio. Based on observation and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
