102417 Operation of a Family Child Care Home (a) When circumstances require the licensee to be temporarily absent from the home, the licensee shall arrange for a substitute adult to care for the children during their absence. Temporary absences shall not exceed 20 percent of the hours that the facility is providing care per day. Based on interview with licensee, she was out of the country for an extended period of time last year and was not present 80% of the time the facility was operating. This poses a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care.
