Family home — in-ground pool drowning prevention requirements — Based on the observation, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses an immediate risk to the children in care. During the facility tour the LPA observed a pool alarm sitting on the edge of the pool outside of the water. The Licensee stated it was removed due to the wind continuously making it sound. Pool alarm was put in the water, tested and is in working condition.

Family home — in-ground pool drowning prevention requirements — Based on the record review, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses a potential safety risk to the children in care. During the review of facility documents, the Licensee provided a daily pool log with the last inspection date of 3-10-2026.

Mandated reporter training — Based on the file review, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses a potential health, safety and personal risk to the children in care. During the staff file review, the LPA was unable to review current Mandated Reporter certificates for S1 and S2.

Child's Records — Based on the file review, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses a potential health, safety and personal risk to the children in care. During the children’s file review, the LPA was unable to review an LIC 627 Consent For Emergency Medical Treatment for C1.

During the review of facility documents, the Licensee stated she has a facility roster, however, she was unable to locate it during the inspection.

During the facility tour the Licensee did not have a current fire drill conducted. Licensee documented the fire drill during inspection.

Mandated reporter training — Based on the observation and record review, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses an potential Safety and Personal Rights risk to the children in care. During the inspection the Licensee stated S3 helps her part time. During the inspection the LPA observed the Licensee sending C1 with S3 so she could focus on the inspection. Licensee also stated S3 does not have a Mandated Reporter.

Family home — clean, safe, heated and ventilated — Based on (observation), LPA observed dog feces in backyard which was accessible to children at play. The licensee did not comply with the section cited above in [1] out of [1] (dog feces)which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
