Drinking water lead testing — Based on observation, interview, and record review, the center did not comply with the section cited above. The director indicated that the center completed its water testing but was unsure when, and upon checking the test results on the Waterboard website, no results were shown. Not completing the water lead testing poses a potential health, safety, or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Waivers and Exceptions for Program Flexibility — Based on observation and interview, the facility did not comply with the Departmental-issued outdoor waiver that no more than seven infants are permitted to be in the outdoor play yard once. During today’s inspection, LPAs observed that 10 infants were outside at once. The facility did not adhere to the waiver, which poses potential health, safety, or personal rights risks to children in care.
