Staffing Ratio and Capacity — Upon the LPAs’ arrival, the LPAs observed two children (ages 7 months and 2 years) being picked up by a parent, and six children (ages 6 months, 9 months, 3 years, 3 years, 4 years, and 4 years) in the care of the assistant. This placed the family child care home at a total of eight children, requiring the facility to operate under the small family child care home capacity and ratio requirements.
