LPA is unable to determine if the firearms and ammunition are stored and locked separately, located inside of the locked cabinet, which poses a potential safety risk to persons in care.
Family home — children supervised at all times — Based on observation, interview, record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA did not observe S2 present during the time of the visit, and by the licensee's own omission, S2 absences will exceed 20 percent of the hours the facility is providing care, multiple days this week, which poses a potential safety risk to persons in care.
Mandated reporter training — Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, S1 Mandated Reporter Training - Child Care Providers (AB1207) Certificate was completed on 07/09/2021 and there is not a current Mandated Reporter Training - Child Care Providers (AB1207) Certificate on file for S1 and S2, which poses a potential safety risk to persons in care.
