Napping Equipment — Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed children's mats were ripped in several areas, exposing foam that can not be wiped clean. The mats were also not covered with a fitted sheet which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision — Based on observation and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. During today's inspection, LPA observed only Staff #1 (S1) has teacher qualifications. After lunch, LPA observed a child in the restroom alone. LPA observed Staff #1 leave the classroom during naptime when children were awake which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
