While touring the back yard of the family child care home, LPA observed an open side gate leading to an open shed. Inside the shed, LPA observed Ortho bug spray, Grout Haze Remover, and tree pruners with saw blades which were accessible to children in care which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Infant Safe Sleep — Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. While touring the inside of the home at 1:46 PM, LPA observed cribs with blankets and sheets hanging above and attached to the side of the cribs which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Mandated reporter training — Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Licensee and Assistant did not have current mandated reporter certifications. Mandated reporter certifications for licensee and assistant expired 8/2/2023 which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
