Infant Care Teacher Qualifications and Duties — Based on observation today, one infant was supervised by staff Pritti Vasani, an aide. Ms. Vasani did not have units in early child hood education or infant care.
Staff-Infant Ratio — Based on observation, one infant was supervised by staff Pritti Vasani (aide).
Infant Care General Sanitation — Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. The changing pad in the mobile infant room has dirt build up and torn sides with exposed foams. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Infant Care Teacher Qualifications and Duties — Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Staff Maritza Cruz in the non-mobile infant room has 6 units in Child Development, none of the completed course is related to the care of infants. This deficiency poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Child Care Center Director Qualifications and Duties — Based on interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Mr. Ilaian has been acting as site director for a few months now. Mr. Ilaian is not a fully qualified director, he is missing units in Administration. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Staff-Infant Ratio — Based on observation and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. The non-mobile infant room was observed to be out of ratio today. There were 3 infants supervised by a non-qualified infant teacher. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Infant Care Food Service — Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 5 out 6 infant files reviewed today. These children did not have a current "Needs and Services Plan" on file. This deficiency poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Indoor Activity Space for Infants — Based on interviews conducted by LPA, infants under 1 year old and preschool age had been allowed to use Infant Room 2 during drop off times. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to the children in care.
Fixtures, Furniture, Equipment and Supplies — Based on observation, on 4/15/24, LPA observed the thermostat at 65 degrees in the Infant 1 room. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to the children in care.
