Personal Rights — the licensee permitting a school-age child to retrieve and use a broom to dislodge a ball from a tree. The school age child swung the broom and struck Child #1 on the right side of the face and head with the handle, resulting in multiple minor skin injuries, including redness and swelling which posed a potential risk to the health, safety, and personal rights of children in care.

LPA observed under the bathroom sink hair products and a cleaning solution spray. The licensee stated she had to replace her her sink cabinet due to a flood and had not put a lock on it. LPA explained to the licensee the importance of having a lock on it, especially anything that says keep out of reach of children which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
